"Where is the soul of my grandmother; in the teacup?

Alexandra Kostrubala invites us into her living room to explore the relationship between inanimate objects and life.
In a room decorated with floral wallpaper, trinkets and heirlooms she will gently touch and rearrange these objects in a bid to bring them back to life.
Kostrubala is especially interested in the innate life and memories stored within each object and their unique way of connecting us with our ancestors.
With reference to the Swedish phenomenon of death cleaning this performance will be a meditation on the fleetingness of life and the permanence of objects.
